Macron and Saudi Crown Prince to Co-Chair Two-State Solution Conference in New York

French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Wednesday that he and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will co-chair a conference on the two-state solution in New York on September 22.

In a statement on X, Macron criticized the U.S. decision to deny visas to Palestinian officials, urging Washington to reverse the move and ensure proper representation.

He emphasized that the conference aims to rally broad international support for a two-state solution, calling for a permanent ceasefire, the release of hostages, large-scale humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the rebuilding of the territory.
