Tunisian Health Ministry Warns Against Risks of Canned Foods

Tunisia’s Ministry of Health has urged citizens to exercise caution when consuming canned foods, warning that some may cause serious illnesses such as botulism, which can lead to paralysis or death.

The ministry advised avoiding swollen, expired, or unverified products, and recommended buying only from licensed outlets. It also called for proper storage of opened cans and immediate medical attention if unusual symptoms appear after consumption.
