Algeria Eliminates Six Terrorists Near Tunisian Border

Algeria’s Ministry of National Defense announced on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, that army units eliminated six terrorists in Tebessa province, near the border with Tunisia.

According to the statement, the operation took place on the night of September 23 in the Thlidjen area of Tebessa’s military sector. The army also recovered six Kalashnikov rifles, large quantities of ammunition, and other equipment.

The ministry emphasized that the operation reflects the armed forces’ ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and secure the country’s borders.
