Tunisia, Kuwait: Discussing Investments in the Agricultural Sector

On Friday, December 6, 2024, the Tunisian Minister of Agricukture, Water Resources and Fishing, Ezzeddine Ben Sheikh, received the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait in Tunis, Mansour Khaled Al-Omar, accompanied by the CEO of the Kuwaiti Investment Authority, Mohamed Al-Naama.

The meeting highlighted the strong ties between Tunisia and Kuwait and underscored a mutual commitment to further enhance these relations through practical programs and investments in the agricultural sector.

On this occasion, the Tunisian Minister emphasized the ministry’s openness to initiatives that support investment across various fields, aiming to strengthen production systems and achieve food security.

For his part, the CEO of the Kuwait Investment Authority expressed the authority’s readiness to invest in the olive and date sectors, with a projected investment exceeding 60 million Tunisian dinars, according to the Tunisian Ministry.
