Tunisian Foreign Minister Meets Ukraine’s Special Envoy

On December 18, 2024, Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ali Nafti, met with Maksym Subkh, Ukraine’s Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa, during his Maghreb tour.

The envoy presented Ukraine’s peace plan to resolve the ongoing regional conflict. Minister Nafti reaffirmed Tunisia’s support for UN-led initiatives to achieve peace and stability through international legitimacy and dialogue.

Discussions also touched on the Palestinian cause, regional developments in the Middle East, and opportunities to enhance Tunisia-Ukraine cooperation, particularly in economic and academic sectors.
