Syria’s newly appointed Foreign Minister, Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, issued a stern warning to Iran on Tuesday, cautioning against spreading chaos in Syria.
In a post on the X platform, Al-Shaibani stated, « Iran must respect the will of the Syrian people, the sovereignty, and the safety of our country. We warn them against spreading chaos in Syria and hold them accountable for the repercussions of their recent statements. »
Al-Shaibani’s warning comes just days after he was entrusted with the foreign affairs portfolio in the interim government.
