U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday evening to withdraw the United States from the United Nations Human Rights Council, calling it « antisemitic » during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The order also continues the suspension of funding to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)—a suspension first enacted by the previous administration—and mandates a review of U.S. participation in UNESCO.
