Tunisia’s President Receives Credentials of New Foreign Ambassadors

The Tunisian President Kais Saied presided over an official ceremony held on the morning of March 27, 2026, at the Carthage Palace, during which he received the credentials of several newly appointed foreign ambassadors to Tunisia.

The ambassadors accredited were:

  • Orlando Requeijo Gual, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba
  • Jun Saito, Ambassador of Japan
  • Isidro Antonio González Afonso, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain
  • Jorge Ayres Roza de Oliveira, Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic
  • Boriana Siméonova, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria

The ceremony took place in the presence of Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad.
