Tunisia and Algeria Boost Cooperation in Employment and Vocational Training

Tunis, March 27, 2026 – Riyadh Chaoued received his Algerian counterpart, Nessima Arhab, at Tunis-Carthage International Airport on Friday, on the sidelines of a high-level international meeting hosted in Tunisia.

The meeting coincides with the international forum titled “Learning Today to Build Tomorrow: Addressing the Challenge of Excellence and Skills Development among Youth.” Both ministers are taking part in the event, which focuses on strengthening youth competencies and future-oriented skills.

Beyond the forum, the visit reflects ongoing efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation between Tunisia and Algeria, particularly in employment, vocational training, and entrepreneurship. It also highlights the strong historical and fraternal ties between the two neighboring countries.
