Minister Chiboub Highlights Tunisia’s Energy and Industrial Strategies at EGYPES 2025

On February 17, 2025, Tunisia’s Minister of Industry, Mines, and Energy, Fatima Thabet Chiboub, participated in the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES), held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

She discussed Tunisia’s strategic energy partnerships, including an upcoming electricity interconnection project with Italy. Chiboub also highlighted the National Industry and Innovation Strategy, aimed at fostering technological development and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

Minister Chiboub noted Tunisia’s industrial growth in sectors like automotive parts, aviation, olive oil exports, and textiles. The EGYPES event attracted over 500 exhibitors and 47,000 participants, focusing on energy and clean technologies.
