Trump Expresses Desire for Dialogue with North Korea

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his desire to initiate talks with North Korea, emphasizing his strong relationship with Kim Jong Un.

After meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, Trump stated that if he had not been elected in 2016, a nuclear war with North Korea could have occurred.

He stressed that their relationship remains positive, despite the collapse of their 2019 summit in Hanoi. Trump also reiterated that North Korea is a nuclear power and is eager to see what happens in the future.
