On April 24, 2025, Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti met with his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavský during a working visit to Tunisia. The session focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries, particularly as they approach the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

The ministers jointly opened the Tunisian-Czech Economic Forum, encouraging business partnerships and greater trade. They also welcomed the rise in Czech tourism to Tunisia and growing commercial exchanges, stated the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.

Discussions included enhancing Tunisia-EU relations, boosting multilateral cooperation, and coordinating support within international organizations like the United Nations. Regional security and development were also on the agenda.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the International Diplomatic Academy of Tunis and the Czech Diplomatic Academy.
