For five nights in a row, gunfire has been exchanged along the Line of Control, with Pakistan claiming to have shot down an Indian drone.
The unrest has caused a panic among tourists in the area and reignited fears of an escalation in tensions between two nuclear powers. UN Secretary-General António Guterres urged both sides to de-escalate tensions.
