On May 7, 2025, Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti met with ambassadors from European Union member states at the Polish Ambassador’s residence in Tunis. Poland is the rotating king of the EU council.
The meeting indicated Tunisia‘s desire to strengthen its partnership with the EU in advance of the 30th anniversary of the Partnership Agreement. Minister Nafti called for deeper cooperation based on respect and mutual interests.
EU ambassadors hosts affirmed Tunisia‘s important, long–term regional role and assured continued support across priority areas including security, economy, health, and technology.
