Tunisian Exports to Brazil Rise to 137 Million Dinars

Tunisian exports to Brazil reached 137 million dinars (approximately USD 71 million) in 2024, driven by incentive measures introduced by the Brazilian government. These included the exemption of 11 food products from customs duties—among them, extra virgin olive oil—according to Mourad Ben Hussein, Director General of the Export Promotion Center.

Tunisian exports to Brazil are diverse, including olive oil, dates, phosphates and derivatives, chemicals, electrical machinery, cotton garments, and tableware.

Brazil also represents Tunisia’s primary export destination within the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR), with trade volume exceeding 1.5
