Canal+ and Netflix Expand Strategic Partnership to Francophone Africa

Canal+ and Netflix have announced the expansion of their strategic partnership to include the African continent, in a move aimed at “enhancing access to world-class entertainment content for subscribers in Francophone Africa.” This expansion follows a successful collaboration launched in 2019 in France and Poland.

Under the new agreement, Canal+, which currently offers more than 400 television channels—including 28 dedicated to the African continent—will become the first media service provider to integrate Netflix content into its packages across 24 French-speaking Sub-Saharan African countries.
