Tunisian Post Launches Free Digital Wallet for Citizens

The Tunisian Post announced on Tuesday the launch of a free digital wallet, Wallet e-Dinar, available to all citizens at post offices nationwide. The initiative aims to enhance financial inclusion, promote digital payments, and simplify access to financial services.

The new wallet allows users to perform various transactions through the Tunisian Post’s mobile app (D17), including money transfers (both instant and standard), bill payments (electricity, water, internet, mobile operators), and cash withdrawals from postal ATMs without a card.

Additionally, it enables payments to merchants using the D17 app, as well as administrative services and online purchases. Students can also use the wallet to pay for university registration, housing fees, school enrollment, and other Ministry of Education services online.
