Tunisian FM Receives Invitation to Attend UN Conference in Turkmenistan

Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti received a call from Turkmen counterpart Raşit Meredow on July 19, 2025, inviting Tunisia to attend the upcoming UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, set for August 5–8 in Turkmenistan.

The two ministers also discussed strengthening political and economic ties, as the countries celebrate 32 years of diplomatic relations. Nafti welcomed the invitation and expressed Tunisia’s readiness to boost cooperation in trade, energy, tourism, and culture.
