Tunisia: Kairouan and Tozeur Record Highest Temperature at 48°C

The National Institute of Meteorology in Tunisia reported that Kairouan and Tozeur recorded the country’s highest temperatures on Thursday, July 24, reaching a scorching 48°C.

Other southern and central regions also witnessed extreme heat, with 47°C in Medenine, 46°C in Kebili, Gabes, and Tataouine, and 45°C in Beja. Temperatures climbed to 44°C in Zaghouan, 43°C in Kef, Siliana, and Monastir, while Sidi Bouzid and Gafsa experienced 40°C.
