IOM Supports Voluntary Return of Over 5,300 Migrants from Tunisia in 2025

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Tunisia announced significant progress in its Voluntary Return and Reintegration Program during the first half of 2025. As of July 30, the organization has supported the voluntary return of 5,336 undocumented migrants to their countries of origin.

The program facilitated returns to 25 different countries through 12 chartered flights and 166 commercial flights, ensuring flexibility in meeting individual needs and logistical requirements. The process was carried out in close coordination with consular authorities and IOM offices in the destination countries.
