Denmark Appoints First Resident Ambassador to Tunisia

Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti received on Thursday Ms. Fenja Yamaguchi-Fasting, who presented her credentials as Denmark’s first resident ambassador to Tunisia.

Nafti praised the opening of Denmark’s diplomatic mission in Tunis as a sign of strong bilateral ties and pledged full support for its work. He highlighted growing cooperation following his June visit to Copenhagen in areas such as technology, energy transition, agriculture, and women’s empowerment.

Ambassador Yamaguchi-Fasting reaffirmed Denmark’s commitment to expanding cooperation and building new partnerships that serve both nations.
