Jeddah: Tunisian FM Holds Bilateral Meetings on Sidelines of OIC Session

Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti held a series of meetings with his counterparts from Arab and Islamic countries on the sidelines of the Extraordinary OIC Foreign Ministers’ session in Jeddah on 25 August 2025.

Talks with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf centered on strengthening economic and energy cooperation and intensifying consultations on regional and international issues.

In his meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, preparations for the upcoming Tunisian-Egyptian High Joint Committee, due in Cairo in early September, topped the agenda.

Discussions with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya reviewed the outcomes of the 2024 Tunisian-Kuwaiti Joint Committee and focused on broadening cooperation in security, economy, energy, culture, and education.

Nafti also met Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein, with both sides reaffirming commitments to deepen trade, energy, and cultural ties.
