Tunisia and Egypt Sign Agreements on Youth, Health, Trade and More

Cairo, September 11, 2025 – Tunisian Head of Government Sarra Zaafrani Zanzari and Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, along with delegations from both countries, oversaw the signing of several cooperation agreements at the end of the 18th session of the Tunisian-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee, held Thursday in Cairo’s New Administrative Capital.

The agreements included executive programs and memoranda of understanding in a range of sectors:

  • Sports cooperation (2026–2027)

  • Youth cooperation (2026–2027)

  • Social affairs

  • Consumer protection and market oversight

  • Export development

  • Health and medical sciences

  • Development of small, medium, and micro enterprises

  • Diplomatic training between Tunisia’s International Diplomatic Academy and Egypt’s Institute of Diplomatic Studies

The ceremony concluded with both prime ministers signing the official record of the committee’s 18th session.
