US President Donald Trump declared the end of the Gaza war after signing a comprehensive peace agreement at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, co-chaired, on Monday, with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and attended by more than 30 world leaders.
The deal, signed by the United States, Egypt, Turkiye, and Qatar, includes a permanent ceasefire, the exchange of hostages and prisoners, the withdrawal of Israeli troops, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Trump described the agreement as historic, thanking Egypt, Turkiye, and Qatar for their roles. President Sisi expressed hope that the accord would end a painful chapter and pave the way for Gaza’s reconstruction and lasting peace in the Middle East.
