Tunisia and China Discuss Strengthening Development Cooperation

Tunis, October 31, 2025 — The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ben Ayed, met with Liu Jenfung, Vice President of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), during his working visit to Tunisia from October 29 to 31.

Both officials praised the strong friendship and partnership between Tunisia and China, highlighting the positive outcomes of recent high-level exchanges. They stressed the need to maintain this momentum and continue implementing the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The meeting also reviewed ongoing development projects in Tunisia and explored ways to expand cooperation in key priority sectors in the coming period.
