Tunisia Reaffirms Support for Sudan During Diplomatic Meeting

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ben Ayed, met on December 3, 2025, with the Ambassador of Sudan to Tunisiam Bukhari Ghanem Mohamed Effendi.

Ben Ayed highlighted the longstanding fraternal relations between Tunisia and Sudan, noting the deep historical, cultural, and civilizational ties that unite the two peoples. He reaffirmed Tunisia’s solidarity with the Sudanese people and its support for efforts to achieve a political settlement that safeguards Sudan’s unity, security, and stability.

Ambassador Effendi praised the strong ties between the two nations and expressed appreciation for Tunisia’s consistent positions in support of the Sudanese people and the stability of Sudan.
