Tunisia Showcases Its Agri-Food Expertise at Food Ingredients Europe 2025

Tunisia participated in the 2025 edition of Food Ingredients Europe (F.I.E.), held from 2 to 4 December at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The Tunisian presence is coordinated by CEPEX, which is leading a national pavilion of 81 m² located in a central area of the exhibition.

Seven Tunisian companies have presented their products — including dates and derivatives, aromatic herbs, and sun-dried tomatoes — alongside the Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency (APIA) and the Interprofessional Dates Group.

F.I.E. 2025 brought together nearly 1,500 exhibitors from more than 130 countries, including major global agri-food companies, foodtech startups, and specialized laboratories. Organizers expect around 25,000 professional visitors.

As one of the world’s leading events for food ingredients, nutrition solutions, and agri-food technologies, the fair provided a key platform for business meetings, innovation showcases, and sector trends.

Tunisia’s natural ingredient exports rely mainly on olive oil and organic dates, along with aromatic and medicinal plants such as rosemary, thyme, mint, and other herbs destined for essential oils and natural extracts. Italy, Spain, and France remain the main export markets.
