Tunisia Condemns Recognition of Somaliland by Israel

Tunisia has expressed its support for statements issued by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, and the African Union Commission condemning Israel’s recognition of the Somaliland region.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tunisia reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Federal Republic of Somalia and its complete support for Somalia’s rejection of any measures that undermine its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national unity.

Tunisia described Israel’s move as a dangerous and unprecedented act, considering it part of broader efforts aimed at expansion and further fragmentation of the Arab region.
