Tunisian FM Meets Danish Ambassador to Expand Bilateral Relations

Tunisia’s Foreign Minister, Mohamed Ali Nafti, met with Fenja Yamaguchi-Fasting, Ambassador of Denmark in Tunis on Monday to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

The minister highlighted the long-standing friendship between Tunisia and Denmark, established in 1959, and called for enhanced collaboration in areas such as digital transformation, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and trade and investment. He also stressed the importance of boosting business ties following the opening of a resident Danish Embassy in Tunis.

For her part, the ambassador reaffirmed Denmark’s commitment to further developing bilateral and multilateral cooperation with Tunisia and exploring new opportunities for partnership.
