Four Fishermen Missing off Tunisia’s Monastir Coast

Search operations continue for a fishing boat carrying four fishermen off Tabarka, Monastir governorate, following a reported accident on Monday.

The 13-meter vessel left Tabarka port and was expected to return the next morning. One fisherman reportedly swam to the Kerkennah Islands, while the boat suffered water leakage due to heavy rain and rough weather about 7 miles off the Monastir coast.

Fishermen and relatives have gathered at Tabarka port, urging authorities to speed up the search and rescue efforts.
