Tunisian Foreign Minister Meets King Abdullah II in Jordan

During a working visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, met with King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein on January 21, 2026, at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman.

Minister Nafti conveyed the fraternal greetings and best wishes of President Kaïs Saïed to King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people, expressing hopes for continued progress and prosperity. In turn, King Abdullah II asked the Minister to transmit his warm regards to the Tunisian President and reaffirmed Jordan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordination with Tunisia on regional and international issues.

The meeting highlighted the depth of the longstanding fraternal relations between Tunisia and Jordan, with both sides expressing their shared determination to further enhance cooperation across various fields in the interest of the two brotherly peoples.
