Tunisia Becomes Russia’s Top Olive Oil Supplier

Tunisia has emerged as the leading supplier of olive oil certified under Russian quality standards, following an increase in the number of accredited Tunisian companies to four, according to Russia’s quality control authority, Roskachestvo.

The Russian body announced that it has granted quality certification to two new producers of Tunisian organic olive oil after they successfully completed the required accreditation process in line with approved organic production standards.

The newly certified companies are Tiroliva Company, marketing under the brand Baraka Oliva, and Agroliva, operating under the brand Baya. Both firms are active in Tunisia’s olive oil sector, further strengthening the country’s position in the Russian market.
