Tunisian Embassy in Doha Suspends Regular Consular Services

The Tunisian Embassy in Doha, Qatar, announced the temporary suspension of regular consular services starting Wednesday, March 4, 2026, until further notice.

In an official statement posted on its Facebook page, the embassy said the decision comes in light of ongoing security developments in the region and in accordance with new directives issued by the competent Qatari authorities. The measures also follow instructions urging residents to exercise caution, remain at home except in cases of extreme necessity, and adopt remote working arrangements.

The embassy informed members of the Tunisian community residing in Qatar that the suspension applies to ordinary consular services, similar to steps taken by other foreign embassies accredited in the country.
