IOM Tunisia Facilitates Voluntary Return of 97 Migrants to Guinea

On March 24, 2026, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Tunisia organized its fourth charter flight of the year, enabling 97 migrants to return voluntarily to Guinea safely and with dignity. The operation was supported financially by Italy.

The returnees are benefiting from IOM’s Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) program, which provides more than just financial aid. The program offers tailored guidance and reintegration support to help individuals rebuild their lives, regain independence, and reintegrate into their communities sustainably.
