Tunisia and Turkmenistan Discuss Strengthening Cooperation

On April 1, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, had a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, Raşit Meredow.

During their discussion the two leaders talked about ways to make their friendly relationship stronger and to work together closely especially when it comes to the economy. They thought it was very important to increase trade participate in exhibitions exchange business delegations and look into investment opportunities.

They also believed it was necessary to work in the areas of culture and tourism and to finalize legal frameworks that would help improve relations between the two countries and make it possible to start new collaborative projects.
