Tunisia and Oman to Boost Cooperation in Employment and Training

On October 15, 2025, Tunisian Employment Minister Riadh Chouad met with Omani Labour Minister Mahad Baawain in Doha, during the 6th Islamic Labour Ministers Conference.

The two officials discussed strengthening cooperation in employment, vocational training, and skills exchange. They agreed to activate existing agreements, finalize a Memorandum of Understanding, and form a joint working group to follow up on implementation.

The MoU is expected to be signed before the end of 2025.
