New U.S. Ambassador Presents Credentials to Tunisian Foreign Minister

Tunis, November 10, 2025 — The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, received the new Ambassador of the United States of America to Tunisia, Bill Bazzi, who presented a copy of his credentials during a ceremony held on Monday.

The meeting highlighted the long-standing friendship between Tunisia and the United States and reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to strengthening and diversifying their cooperation in various fields, including security, economy, trade, education, science, technology, tourism, and transport.

Ambassador Bazzi expressed his pride in taking up his new post in Tunisia and praised the depth of relations between the two nations. He emphasized the U.S. commitment to expanding economic and trade partnerships and expressed his readiness to support new opportunities for collaboration between public and private sector actors from both countries.
