Tunisia and Spain Reaffirm Strong Bilateral Ties

Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Tunisia, Javier Puig Saura, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, for a farewell visit marking the end of the ambassador’s mission.

The meeting reaffirmed the strength of Tunisian-Spanish relations and reviewed ways to further deepen cooperation, as both countries mark the 30th anniversary of the 1995 Treaty of Friendship and Good Neighborliness. Minister Nafti praised the ambassador’s efforts in strengthening bilateral ties, while Ambassador Puig Saura expressed his gratitude to Tunisian authorities for their support during his tenure.
