Tunisian bottled olive oil is featured prominently at the 31st edition of the Gulfood International Food Exhibition, taking place from 26 to 30 January 2026 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The participation is organized by the Technical Centre for Packaging and Packing (PACKTEC), under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, and includes 13 Tunisian companies specialized in bottling and exporting olive oil.
Gulfood is one of the world’s largest food and beverage exhibitions, bringing together more than 8,500 exhibitors from 135 countries, and serving as a key platform for access to Gulf and international markets. The Tunisian pavilion, covering 228 square meters in the “Fats and Oils” section, is dedicated exclusively to promoting bottled Tunisian olive oil through brand displays, tasting sessions, and cooking demonstrations.
Tunisia’s participation at Gulfood 2026 reflects a strategic effort to strengthen the international positioning of its olive oil, as exports reached around 318,000 tonnes in 2025, marking a growth of over 60% compared to the previous year, according to official figures.
