Tunisian Interior Minister Khaled Nouri received U.S. Ambassador Bill Bazzi on Monday, January 27, 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters, in the presence of the Secretary of State in charge of Security.
The meeting highlighted the depth of the longstanding Tunisian–U.S. partnership and reaffirmed the mutual commitment to strengthening and diversifying cooperation in the interest of both peoples. Discussions also covered joint cooperation projects in the areas of security, counterterrorism, and irregular migration.
