Signing of Cooperation Agreement to Boost Jobs in Electronics Sector

Tunisia has signed a cooperation agreement aimed at accelerating recruitment in the electronics industry and supporting economic inclusion.

The agreement was overseen by Employment and Vocational Training Minister Riadh Chaoued and concluded between the National Agency for Employment and Self-Employment and AsteelFlash Tunisie.

The partnership will create more than 400 jobs in 2026 for graduates of vocational training and higher education institutions, with over 1,500 additional positions planned over the next three years.

The minister said the initiative forms part of the government’s “Major Employers Program,” launched in 2025, which has already generated over 15,000 jobs nationwide.

For his part, AsteelFlash CEO Nicolas Denis announced plans to expand investment through a new factory, praising the skills of Tunisian engineers and technicians.
