Tunisia’s Foreign Minister on Official Visit to Berlin to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, is on an official visit to Berlin on March 24–25, 2026, at invitation from his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul. The visit is part of ongoing efforts to deepen the long-standing partnership between Tunisia and Germany.

The trip coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations, reflecting decades of cooperation since Tunisia’s independence. It will provide an opportunity for both sides to expand collaboration across multiple sectors and reinforce their strong ties of friendship.

During his stay, Nafti is expected to hold talks with Wadephul, and meet other senior German officials. He will also meet members of the Tunisian community at the Tunisian Embassy in Berlin, underlining the importance of maintaining close connections with citizens living abroad.
