Tunisia Reaffirms Support for Arab Sovereignty and Regional Stability

During his participation yesterday in the 165th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, held remotely, Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the country’s strong commitment to the principles of international legitimacy, particularly respect for state sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He stressed Tunisia’s firm rejection of any violations targeting the stability, security, or resources of Arab countries, expressing full and unconditional solidarity with Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Jordan, and Iraq in the face of any threats.

The Minister also reiterated Tunisia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people in restoring their legitimate rights, foremost among them the establishment of an independent and sovereign state on all Palestinian territory with Jerusalem as its capital. He further expressed Tunisia’s full solidarity with Lebanon and its rejection of any attacks undermining its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Finally, he renewed Tunisia’s call for peaceful solutions, urging an immediate de-escalation of tensions and emphasizing dialogue and negotiation as the only path to resolving conflicts, while calling for intensified collective efforts to prevent further regional instability.
