A source from the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Wednesday evening that an official delegation, led by Foreign Minister Assad Al-Shibani, Defense Minister Marhaf Abu Qasra, and Intelligence Chief Anas Khattab, has arrived in Saudi Arabia.
The delegation traveled to Riyadh following an invitation from Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
This marks the first official foreign visit by the new Syrian administration.
