Tunisian FM on Official Visit to Algeria to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

On January 27, 2025, Tunisia’s Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti visited Algeria, where he was received by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and held talks with Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf.

According to a statement by the Tunisian Foreign Ministry, Minister Nafti conveyed President Kais Saied’s greetings and emphasized Tunisia’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination on bilateral, regional, and international issues.

President Tebboune reaffirmed Algeria’s dedication to deepening ties with Tunisia. Both sides underscored the need for a robust action plan to enhance collaboration in key areas, including energy, water and food security, trade, and healthcare.

The discussions also addressed regional and global challenges, emphasizing the importance of joint strategies to promote security and development in both countries.
