Tunisian President, Kais Saied, received phone call from Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani on May 4, during which the PM also reiterated his invitation to Tunisia to the 34th Arab League Summit, the 5th Arab Economic and Social Development Summit in Baghdad on May 17.
During the call, President Saied repeated Tunisia’s steadfast and undivided support for Palestine, condemning Israeli actions as an effort to erase lives and the will to resist. He also called for Arab unity to show firm collective position against the humanitarian violations faced.
