Tunisian Foreign Minister Meets with EU Ambassadors

On May 7, 2025, Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti met with ambassadors from European Union member states at the Polish Ambassador’s residence in Tunis. Poland is the rotating king of the EU council.

The meeting indicated Tunisias desire to strengthen its partnership with the EU in advance of the 30th anniversary of the Partnership Agreement. Minister Nafti called for deeper cooperation based on respect and mutual interests.

EU ambassadors hosts affirmed Tunisias important, longterm regional role and assured continued support across priority areas including security, economy, health, and technology.
