Tunisia and Algeria Reaffirm Commitment to Boost Strategic Partnership

On June 30, 2025, Tunisian Head of Government Sarah Zaafrani Zenzri met with Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui in Seville, on the sidelines of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development.

Zenzri highlighted the strong historic ties between the two countries and emphasized the importance of boosting cooperation, especially in trade and economic sectors. Larbaoui stressed the need to further strengthen relations to address current global challenges.

Both sides also called for solid preparation ahead of the upcoming Tunisian-Algerian High Joint Commission meeting later this year.
