Tunisia and European Investment Bank Discuss Joint Cooperation

On August 18, Tunisian Minister of Industry, Mines, and Energy Fatma Thabet Chiboub met Jean Luc Revereault, Director of the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Tunisia, as he concluded his tenure.

The meeting reviewed cooperation between the Ministry and EIB on projects in renewable energy, grid improvements, and the Tunisia-Italy electricity interconnection (ELMED).

Tunisian Minister thanked Revereault for his contributions and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to international collaboration. Revereault emphasized the Bank’s continued support for Tunisia, including in the mining sector, and expressed gratitude for local support.
