Tunisian FM Meets New Director of International Labor Organization (ILO)

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Mohamed Ali Nafti received Halim Hamzaoui, the new Director of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for North Africa, who presented his credentials on Monday.

Nafti praised Tunisia’s decades-long cooperation with the ILO, highlighting progress in employment programs, vocational training, and workplace safety, as well as Tunisia’s 2024 accession to the ILO’s Global Coalition for Social Justice.

Hamzaoui commended the partnership and pledged to continue supporting Tunisia’s efforts to promote jobs, social justice, and sustainable development in the Maghreb.
